About the role:

  • Delivery of test results in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Managing the anechoic chamber facilities including all state of the art measurement equipment
  • Responsible for all the data generated in the anechoic chamber
  • Ensuring all projects uphold a high standard of functional and technical performance – in line with the RODE brand
  • Manage inputs from key stakeholders

About you:

  • Tertiary qualified Acoustic Engineer (local or international)
  • Passionate about Audio
  • Good understanding of acoustic principles
  • Experience with acoustic measurement techniques
  • Knowledge of microphones and microphone techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel incl. writing macros, experience with SoundCheck a plus
  • Meticulous attention to detail and process-orientated approach
  • Liaise with Industrial Designer, Product Designer and Electronics Engineer to provide test results
  • Self-disciplined team player, able to work in multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholders
