In this role you will work on the ongoing development and maintenance of strategic accounts in the consumer electronics and e-commerce space, as well as developing new relationships in our growing consumer electronics product category.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting/exceeding annual revenue and profitability targets for the designated accounts. Key accounts identified will include national chain stores (in-store and online) and Amazon (online), with responsibilities including the management of product presentation & placement in-store and online, new product rollout, MDF deployment, inventory allocation and risk-management through policy development and enforcement

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead business development of new consumer electronics resellers/partners in close cooperation with Global Sales Manager
  • Set up and manage e-commerce systems and platforms, with a particular focus on Amazon and national chain stores.
  • Manage Amazon brand accounts in relation to product selection, new product rollout, and ongoing brand protection tools on Amazon globally.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing management on the key account participation in global digital marketing campaigns and incentives and go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Maintain quarterly/annual forecasts and targets for the designated accounts.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with local and global key-accounts to maintain personal relationships and keep partners up to date on campaigns, products, opportunities, or upcoming challenges.
  • Schedule and conduct in-store or online training programs to support dealer sales and new-product rollouts for local CE accounts.
  • Monitor and report on competitor trends and identify upcoming risks in the market
  • Work with in-house team on the onboarding of new accounts, including introduction of business systems and processes to support dealer sales
  • Perform other duties as required

You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has the ability to manage priorities with a focus on big picture outcomes.
  • Highly motivated person who thrives on the sales process and achievement of goals.
  • Confident and passionate about building trusted relationships with business partners
  • Detail oriented, with good time management skills and ability to meet follow-up commitments and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel / work remotely when required
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and strategically approach new resellers with management of risk to existing network
  • Ability to work independently to resolve problems and manage issues in the assigned category and identify when escalation is required.
  • Knowledge of the consumer electronics e-commerce market, with understanding of industry practises.
  • Experience in consumer or professional audio or video product sales a bonus.
  • Detail oriented, with good time management skills.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related area. Relevant work experience also considered
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional sales role in the e-commerce or consumer electronics space.
  • Basic technical knowledge of audio principles and products
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape for professional and consumer audio capture products.
