You can find happiness anywhere. Even in the darkest places, there is some semblance of light. That is where our main character is. The homeless man has created a world for himself, with sounds and images. This world helps the man cope and realize that he is not what others think of him, a sad, old, drunken, homeless man, but a man Nothing Less.
Behind the scenes of Nothing Less
We shot on two cameras, the Nikon D750 and the Cannon EOS 5D Rebel. The microphones we used were the Røde MicGO and the Røde MicPro. We used sounds from small everyday things such as the man's cart, his clothes, and the cars that drove by to create a world solely controlled by this man. A world that feels safe to him. The man's poem show a type of frustration that the man has for the way people think of him or see him. He is not a sad, old, drunken, homeless man, but a man Nothing Less.
